This position requires working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures. The incumbent must also be prepared to work rotating shifts or night duty assignments while on temporary detail assignments within their assigned sector. CBPOs are required to conduct searches of luggage, vehicles or people when needed under specific circumstances. The need may arise at any time during which inspections occur such as border crossing points or other locations where CBP is authorized jurisdiction over activities related directly thereto!
