THE OPPORTUNITY
IFCJ Canada is seeking a full-time professional and service-minded Donor Care & Operations Coordinator to support donor care, community engagement, and office operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for donors, partners, and internal stakeholders, contributing to a positive and responsive experience for those who engage with the organization.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Donor Care & Operations Coordinator provides operational and administrative support that helps ensure the smooth execution of programs and daily activities. The role works closely with the Director of Philanthropy to support donor and community engagement efforts across church and partner networks through coordinated communications and stewardship follow-up. This is a current vacancy.

Key Responsibilities
Donor Care & Stewardship (50%)
Serve as a frontline point of contact for donors, handling inbound inquiries and providing timely, warm, and professional support by phone, email, and written correspondence
Manage and document incoming donations, and generate and send donor acknowledgements, tax receipts, and service-related correspondence
Conduct outbound donor care calls and follow-ups as required
Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the CRM database
Support donor engagement and stewardship related to campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives
Handle donor information with discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Community Engagement & Outreach Support (30%)
Provide administrative and logistical support to community engagement and outreach initiatives within the Canadian church community
Assist with outreach communications, including drafting, coordinating approvals, and tracking distribution
Support outreach events and initiatives through registration tracking, materials preparation, and fulfillment coordination
Maintain outreach-related records and assist with basic reporting and data tracking
Coordinate with internal teams to support outreach activities and timelines
Office & Operations Support (20%)
Provide reception coverage, including answering and directing incoming calls and emails and welcoming visitors
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Support general office operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining shared spaces, and scheduling meetings
Assist with administrative tasks for the Operations and Philanthropy teams as required
Minimum Qualifications
Post-Secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of related experience with direct donor interaction, in a non-profit or similar setting
Experience with Raiser's Edge, Luminate Online, Fundraise Up, or similar donor database application is an asset

Unquestionable integrity and discretion with confidential and sensitive information
Sensitivity to varied cultures and religions, especially the Jewish and Christian communities
Ability to effectively work independently with little direction
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, OneNote) and comfort working with internal systems and online platforms
Hands-on experience with standard office equipment (e.g. computers, telephone systems and printers)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is expected to be performed in a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of four (4) in-office days per week, and 1 remote workday (5 days total – 37.5 hours weekly). May require extended hours during peak periods and non-traditional hours to perform job duties, as well as participation and attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings.
