Mission of the Position:
As a critical member of the marketing team, you'll be integral in coordinating a global team to drive marketing campaigns and programs. Reporting to the Director of Reputation Management, you will help develop and execute strategic plans that enhance the Pioneer reputation while driving awareness, consideration, and conversion. You will make data-driven decisions to prioritize our efforts and then drive key projects to conclusion. You will coordinate with agencies, internal teams, and vendors, and build consensus with key stakeholders. You will need exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. A successful candidate will not only grow the Pioneer profile but also have the opportunity to grow professionally with the brand.
Key Responsibilities
*Content marketing: Coordinate and commission blogs, editorial projects, and thought leadership. Manage the editorial process, tracking results, and refining content strategies.
*Social media: Drive relevant B2B and B2C content, grow each channel, and improve conversion rates.
*Project management: Expertise in keeping complex projects on schedule using tools such as Asana and Google Workspace. Experience tracking and managing project hours, estimates, and overages.
*SEO: Familiarity with technical SEO and data-driven publishing strategies.
*Copy editing: Ability to leverage tools and brand knowledge to ensure all content is accurate and on-brand.
*Agency experience: Ability to oversee media plans, creative campaigns, and planning, and coordinate with agencies and internal teams.
*Website: Preferred experience with technical project management, website maintenance, and enhancement.
*Marketing Dashboard: Ability to conduct post-project reviews and maintain a marketing dashboard for channel effectiveness.
Required Competencies:
*Four-year college degree.
*3-6+ years of experience as a Marketing Project Manager.
*Proven experience as a Project Manager or Account Manager.
*Hands-on experience in managing advertising, marketing, and media presence.
*In-depth knowledge of marketing best practices and data-driven processes.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on business brand management and client satisfaction.
*An understanding of the educational technology market and trends is preferred.
*Able to work with ambiguity and be a resourceful, creative problem solver with low reliance on delegation.
*Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
*Comfortable working independently to complete deliverables when timelines are at risk.
*Detail-oriented with strong process management skills.
*Flexible and adaptable; able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
*Willingness to roll up sleeves and take on a variety of tasks beyond traditional project management.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
