Edit and assemble footage, ensuring the technical content is presented clearly and concisely.
Inject humor into the script through creative editing techniques, visual elements, and sound design.
Collaborate with the writing team to enhance comedic elements in the news show.
Ensure a smooth flow and pacing, maintaining a balance between information and entertainment.
Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the overall viewing experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, preferably with a background in editing news or informational content.
Storytelling ability is an absolute must If your portfolio is heavily product or commercial related, this is probably not the job for you.
Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, AE, Photoshop).
A creative mindset with a keen sense of humor – experience with comedy editing is a plus.
Understanding of electrical engineering concepts is advantageous, but a willingness to learn and integrate technical content is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with writers.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
