POSITION SUMMARY Reports to: Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Coordinator will support the FCC Canada HR team in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. This role plays a key part in employee lifecycle management, training and development, corporate event coordination, performance management processes, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate or construction environment. The Human Resources Coordinator's key responsibilities are:

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop tailored learning solutions.
  • Design and implement comprehensive training and development programs aligned with organizational goals and evaluate effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct onboarding and ongoing training sessions across departments.
  • Facilitate career development initiatives such as workshops, mentoring programs, and structured learning paths.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements and maintain accurate records within HRIS and LMS systems.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and corporate events.
  • Coordinate logistics and internal communications for HR programs and company initiatives.
  • Support probation period evaluations and the annual performance evaluation process.
  • Support daily HR operations and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment legislation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system.
  • Manage internal HR communications professionally and effectively.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Support the Talent Team with job postings, background checks.
  • Generate reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ADP, and other HR tools.
  • Maintain and analyze HR data to support business decision-making.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar HR support role.
  • Proven experience coordinating training and development programs

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and HR data management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and Adobe skills required.
  • Experience with Power BI and ADP is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range: 65, ,000 CAD Annually
