Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Carpenter – Prefab Homes to join our Valued Clients team in Revelstoke, British Columbia. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling prefabricated home components in a controlled manufacturing environment, as well as assisting with on-site installation when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, roof trusses, and modular components according to blueprints and specifications.

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical documents.

  • Measure, cut, and install wood and other materials with precision.

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and building code requirements.

  • Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet production targets.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Assist with on-site installation and finishing work as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or modular construction.

  • Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent experience considered an asset.

  • Strong understanding of framing, finishing, and general carpentry practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

  • Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing repetitive tasks.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in modular or prefabricated home construction.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • First Aid and WHMIS certifications.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily based in a prefab manufacturing facility in Revelstoke, BC, with occasional outdoor site work.

  • Exposure to typical construction conditions including noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times on the production floor and job sites.
