Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell is seeking a System Validation Engineer with a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering to join our System Engineering group. The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team of energetic, highly skilled engineers to evaluate and validate Marvell's high speed mixed signal semiconductor solutions used in multi gigabit data transmission.What You Can Expect
- Validate the analog and digital system performance of Marvell's multi‑gigabit semiconductor devices
- Develop, execute, and maintain validation plans and test methodologies
- Design and implement advanced Python-based test automation frameworks and scripts
- Perform in-depth debugging, data analysis, and performance characterization
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as a self-driven contributor
- Periodic international travel to other Marvell sites may be required
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in silicon/system validation
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Deep understanding of DSP architectures for PAM4 and coherent transmission (including DFE, FFE, CDR, FIR, FEC, and link‑equalization methodologies)
- Strong debugging skills with complex, high‑speed systems
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis; familiarity with C++/Matlab and Git is a plus
- Hands-on lab experience with high-speed test equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, signal generators, VNAs, phase‑noise analyzers, and similar tools
- Skilled in technical documentation , including clear, well‑structured reports, data analysis, and visualization
- Experience with PCB schematic design and layout is an asset
- Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to multi‑task and work independently with minimal supervision
- Full-time on-site work required
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of hire without restrictions
