Senior Scrum Master 

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior (Sr.) Scrum Master Consultant to join our team. You will provide your expertise to support clients in transforming their business cultures to be agile. As a Sr. Scrum Master Consultant, you will provide coaching and mentorship to teams and stakeholders, actively optimizing workflows to enhance delivery speed and quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult and coach clients to create Agile teams, learn and follow Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Facilitate verbal, written and visual communication and collaboration among squads, stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Identify and remove impediments that are preventing the team from accomplishing deliverables. 
  • Ensure that the team is working towards the agreed goals and objectives.
  • Work with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog and ensure that it is aligned with business objectives.
  • Cultivate a high-performance environment by leveraging data-driven insights and automation to guide the team in optimizing their processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and improve overall Agile performance.
  • Communicate the status and progress of the team to senior management.
  • Ensure transparency into the team's work by tracking and reporting on metrics such as lead time, cycle time, error rate, SLA adherence, progress, and team velocity, among others. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM). 
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A confident and engaging communicator capable of facilitating meetings and ceremonies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
