About
We have approximately 150 SKUs. Our product descriptions are currently written in the standard Shopify description field. We need to restructure this content into Shopify metafields so our product page template can dynamically populate accordion sections.
Experience with is required. Applications without Instant experience will not be considered.
Project Goal
Create a scalable, structured metafield system so the following accordion sections dynamically populate per product:
Product Details
- Materials & Sustainability
- Styling Suggestions
- Shipping & Care
Important: Many SKUs share similar content. This is NOT a manual copy/paste of 150 products. The right freelancer will:
- Audit all 150 SKUs
- Identify logical product groupings
- Make editorial decisions about which content can be standardized
- Bulk assign metafield values intelligently via CSV

Scope of Work
- Audit all 150 SKUs.
- Propose a clean metafield structure (field names + naming convention).
- Group products by similarity (e.g., ribbon types, paper types, cards, etc.).
- Create standardized metafield content where appropriate.
- Export products via CSV and bulk populate metafields.
- Re-import products and confirm metafields are correctly assigned.
- Connect metafields properly inside the product template.
- Verify accordion sections dynamically populate across multiple SKUs.
- Provide brief documentation explaining how future SKUs should be structured.

- Proven dynamic product template experience
- Strong editorial judgment (ability to group and standardize content intelligently)
