About

As a Border Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation by identifying and interrogating individuals suspected of breaching immigration laws.

The primary duties of this position include:

  • Employing surveillance equipment such as infrared scopes at night to detect individuals or groups attempting to cross the border illegally.

Duties may also involve collaborating with other agents, local law enforcement officials, and military personnel to apprehend violators of state or federal laws while working together as part of an integrated team. This collaborative approach enables effective response strategies that ensure public safety and uphold national security standards. The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments. Key qualifications for success in this position include:



  • A high school diploma is required; however, a degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Valid driver's license
