We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals who wish to pursue a long-term career in federal law enforcement. As a border patrol agent, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security of our country's borders and protecting its citizens.
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
prior experience in public safety, security, military police or law enforcement;
capacity for sound judgments decisions; ability to maintain composure under pressure learn regulations methods techniques through classroom training on-the-job instruction gather concise information thorough questioning observation examination documents records.
You will receive intensive six months training in US border patrol operations legal procedures driver safety firearm usage language proficiency including becoming proficient Spanish interpreter
