Border Security Specialist

This is a high-priority role within the border security division. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for preventing and detaining undocumented non-citizens while patrolling international boundaries and coastal waterways.

• Prevent unauthorized entry into the country by detecting and intercepting individuals attempting to cross the border illegally.
• Patrol designated areas along the international boundary and coastal waterways in boats or on foot to monitor for potential threats.

The primary work environment can include desert terrain with extreme temperatures often above 100 degrees Fahrenheit during summer months. Candidates must be physically fit to perform duties that require prolonged periods of walking, running, swimming, or driving in various weather conditions.
