About the Role
The primary responsibility of a Border Patrol Agent is to enforce all applicable federal laws, regulations, and policies at or near U.S. borders while protecting America's national security.
Typical Assignments
- Interdiction: Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Pursuit: Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders
- Investigation: Interpreting tracks and physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
Ability to work in high-stress environments with limited supervision < li > Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members < / li >< li > Proficiency in law enforcement techniques , firearms training , first aid procedures etc . < / li > / div>
