Location: Stratford, Ontario, Canada (onsite)
Salary Range: $43.75 per hour
Vacancy Type: Existing position
Schedule: Full‑time; shifts may include days, afternoons, nights, or continental; overtime as required
 

As our next Industrial Millwright , you'll be at the forefront of installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing industrial machinery while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and equipment repair will be essential in driving our success and supporting mission‑critical manufacturing uptime.

What You'll Be Doing:


• Read and interpret diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery for installation, setup, or repair.
• Inspect and examine machinery to identify irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools (lathes, grinders) to fabricate required parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Construct foundations for machinery and assemble equipment prior to installation.
• Assist in training new hires and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with JE Quality Management and Environmental Health & Safety Systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:


• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree or Trade School Certification.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics; welding experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, crawl, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) and math.

Bonus Points If You Have:


• Experience operating metal‑working machinery (lathes, grinders, etc.).
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and industrial diagnosis.
• Experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environments.
