The issue:
• I used my personal bank account for both personal and business transactions
• Business and personal transactions are mixed
• BAS is behind
• Financials need to be properly prepared for Australian tax lodgement
Scope of Work:
• Review 3 financial years of bank transactions (PDF statements available)
• Separate business vs personal transactions accurately
• Reconcile business transactions into Xero
• Categorise income, expenses, GST
• Prepare financial reports suitable for tax lodgement in Australia
• Prepare BAS figures (lodgement optional depending on qualifications)
Requirements:
• Proven experience with Australian sole traders
• Strong knowledge of GST and BAS requirements
• Advanced Xero experience
• Experience cleaning up mixed personal/business accounts
• Understanding of ATO compliance standards
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Bank Reconciliation, Intuit QuickBooks, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Accounting, Accounts Payable, Data Entry, Bookkeeping, Property Management, Accounting Principles & Practices, Wave Accounting, Xero
