About
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous Human Resources administrative experience is an asset (healthcare setting preferred).
Proficient with Human Resources software (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Key Responsibilities
Assist with end-to-end recruitment tasks including posting job advertisements, screening candidates and scheduling interviews
Draft and prepare job offer letters, employment contracts, and related correspondence for review by the Human Resources Lead.
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and candidate records.
Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics, including scheduling orientation, preparing onboarding materials and facilitating access to necessary systems and resources.
Support formatting, editing, and maintaining Human Resources policies, procedures, templates, letters, contracts and official documentation in accordance with organizational standards and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate employee files ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards.
Provide administrative support related to payroll processes, including maintenance of attendance and leave records, reporting changes in status, and collaborating with payroll staff to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Assist in reviewing and organizing Human Resources policies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with healthcare regulatory requirements.
Act as a point of contact for basic employee inquiries, directing complex issues to the Human Resources Lead and providing professional, responsive assistance.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment.
Understanding of Human Resources practices and employment regulations related to recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and documentation.
This is a full-time hybrid position.
