Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Must Have
10+ years building ETL / ELT pipelines and workflow processing
5–8 years hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS preferred)
5–8 years working with unstructured text data (documents, APIs, standards)
Strong understanding of semantic search, embeddings & vector stores (chunking strategies)
Apache Airflow (or equivalent) for orchestration, dependencies & monitoring
3–5 years supporting AI/ML or GenAI solutions
Agile delivery experience
Nice to Have
Experience with RAG systems & provenance patterns
Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage & auditability
AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
Databricks Data Engineer Professional
Advanced ML Engineer certification
Enterprise AI Architect certification
