Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is sourcing a term position for 12-18 months for a Maintenance Scheduler to join the Grande Prairie, AB Scheduling team. This position reports to the Supervisor, Planning/Scheduling in the Gas Business Unit, (GBU), part of Pembina's Facilities Division. Pembina's Gas Processing assets comprise a strategically located network of facilities and related infrastructure. The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for scheduling of operations and maintenance work tasks for the GP Central District. This includes liaising between control center operations, district supervision and field personnel for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Scheduler will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient scheduling of maintenance, reliability and regulatory job completion to meet Pembina's Facility Integrity, Maintenance Management (PMM) and Regulatory Compliance processes and certifications. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Participate in performance feedback process with direct supervisor and work to constructively improve performance based on feedback;
Participate in an Equitable, Inclusive and Diverse workplace;
Develop, optimize, maintain, and distribute planned maintenance and reliability jobs including 7-day frozen and 14-day execution schedules to Maintenance and Operations, and participates in the 45-day outlook sessions;
Distribute execution schedules and pertinent work orders to Contracted Services, that ensure timely identification of required JHAs/FLHA's to reduce risk, consideration of potential introduction of defects during work execution, and critical skill set and resources required;
Provide technical input and support relating to maintenance procedures and job plans that adhere to Pembina Maintenance Management (PMM) processes, practices and systems;
Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on all Safety Critical equipment failures and any other equipment failures classified as medium to high risk, while ensuring corrective and preventative actions are taken to prevent a recurrence;
Compile monthly and quarterly maintenance and reliability performance reports and distribute to the required stakeholders;
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimize schedule generation and work execution, by organizing and combining jobs and activities to minimize equipment downtime;
Participate in periodic internal compliance reviews and/or audit activities and ensure corrective actions are implemented, primarily within SAP Plant Maintenance;
Complete vendor prequalification, verification of approved status and assessment of qualifications and participate in the on-going vendor assessments and evaluations;
Ensure maintenance, inspection and repair activities are scheduled/executed in accordance to the regulatory requirement; and
Utilize effective communication skills as well work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years progressive related experience in a plant operations/maintenance environment;
Trades ticket (Electrical, Instrumentation or Millwright) and/or Steam Ticket preferred;
Post-secondary education in the oil & gas industry is an asset;
Project/Maintenance scheduling experience is an asset;
Technical procedure writing experience is an asset;
Working knowledge of MS Office applications is required;
SAP Plant Maintenance & Prometheus software experience is an asset;
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required;
CMRP and/or MMP certification is an asset; and
Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
This position is considered "Safety Sensitive" so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing. You may also be required to provide a Driver's Abstract.
The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie, AB.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
