About
We're a premium apparel brand in the medical/workwear space looking for a part-time, execution-focused freelancer to improve our visibility in AI-generated search results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, etc.).
This is not a strategy-only role. We are specifically looking for someone who will do the work: outreach, placement, and securing third-party mentions and reviews that AI models ingest and reference.
What You'll Actually Do (Execution, Not Theory)
This role is responsible for hands-on delivery, including:
AI Search Visibility & Earned Content
Identify and secure third-party placements (not on our site) such as:
"Best scrubs for X" roundups (tall, plus-size, maternity, long shifts, etc.)
Independent comparison reviews
Clinician-written blog posts or Substack/Medium reviews
Outreach to:
Healthcare bloggers
Clinicians with writing platforms
Editors of roundup/review sites
Ensure correct brand and product naming appears in content
LLM / AI Optimization
Optimize where and how our brand appears so it's included in:
AI "best of" lists
Multi-brand comparisons
Track whether our brand begins appearing more frequently in AI-generated answers over time
Deliverables (Required)
Live URLs to third-party content
Screenshots or links showing brand inclusion
Brief monthly summary of placements and progress
We are not looking for:
Keyword research only
Audits or strategy decks
On-site blog writing
Prompt engineering
What We're Looking For
Must Have
Proven experience with earned media SEO, digital PR, or content outreach
Clear understanding of how AI models source and summarize content
Comfortable doing direct outreach and follow-up
Able to show examples of brands placed into "best of" or comparison content
Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare, apparel, or consumer brands
Familiarity with Reddit, Medium, Substack, and review ecosystems
Understanding of how durability, fit, and social impact language gets picked up by AI
Engagement Details
Part-time freelance
Ongoing monthly work (not full-time)
Flexible hours
Paid hourly or monthly retainer (open to discussion)
