Overview of the role:
Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Processor, for an existing opportunity within our organization.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Processor is responsible for setting up and monitoring the equipment found in the tank gallery, process room, and the basement. Any damaged parts are to be removed and either cleaned or replaced, which involves walking between the three levels of the plant. The Processor is also responsible for adding various ingredients to the filtration vats, and replacing large chemical pails.
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday from 11:00am – 10:30pm, off Sunday, Monday, Friday.
Salary: Starting rate $28.89/hour
Full-Time only: there are salary increases every 6 months up to 24 months of service, with a target rate of $34.14/hour.

How you will make contributions that matter:
- Make all necessary connections of equipment and pipes as required for daily use
- Perform homogenizer pressure check and pasteurizer temperature (cooling and running temps) checks
- Perform butterfat analysis on tanks and solids
- Monitor vitamin usage and make necessary adjustments
- Add ingredients to milk products according to formulations
- Monitor milk processing equipment and report abnormal conditions to supervisor
- Clean exterior of pipes, equipment and work area as necessary
- Complete circuit hooks ups for production and CIP modes
- Assist with morning sanitizing as necessary (raw milk area)
- Assist in equipment teardown of separators and pasteurizers
- Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.
- Other duties, as assigned
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 education
- Mechanically inclined
- Working knowledge in food or dairy environment
- Forklift Licensed preferred
- Basic computer knowledge would be an asset
- Familiar with standardization and formulization of ingredients to milk products would be an asset
- Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment
- A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone
- Can easily assume additional responsibility as required
- Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
