About

DevOps Engineer (Software Developer) needed for HCA Management services located in Nashville, TN. Will design, build, and manage data platforms, solutions, and interfaces in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Optimize GCP infrastructure, ensuring high uptime, scalability. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, reducing deployment time and enabling consistent, version-controlled infrastructure across environment. Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, achieving a Recovery Time Objective and Recovery Point Objective. Develop and test backup and restore procedures, to ensure 100% data integrity and availability during simulated system failures. Automate routine system administration tasks, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual errors. Develop custom monitoring and alerting systems, reducing Mean Time to detect issues and to resolve issues. May WFH up to 3 days per week in the Nashville area. Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering and 5 years of overall progressive IT experience which includes at least 2 years of designing and implementing a cloud-based infrastructure and maintaining IaC using Terraform; designing and implementing a database back-up and recovery strategy and using python scripts to automate operational tasks.
