About
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be essential to the daily operations of our warehouse, responsible for the movement, organization, and storage of materials. Your duties will include receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking orders, and preparing items for shipment. This position requires physical exertion, including frequent lifting and the operation of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Package products securely for shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
