Join our fast-paced logistics hub as a Receiving Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and accurately logging received items into our inventory system. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly receiving dock. You will play a key part in the supply chain, ensuring that all incoming products are accounted for and ready for put-away. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify quantities and descriptions of received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for damage or defects and report any issues promptly.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and label incoming products as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock placement.
- Manage the lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
