Job Summary:
Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is seeking a motivated Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the distribution center. This includes loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, stocking shelves, and assisting with inventory management. A strong work ethic, physical capability, and commitment to safety are essential for success in this role within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Stack and store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all guidelines.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandated use of PPE.
  • Identify and report any hazards, damaged goods, or equipment issues.
  • Support other warehouse functions to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational demands.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Experience operating forklifts is required; certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50-75 pounds, regularly.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and manual labor throughout the shift.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
