Job Summary:
Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You'll be responsible for operating equipment to move materials around the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that inventory is stored correctly. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the warehouse.
  • Stack and arrange materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper placement and stability.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and verifying stock levels.
  • Identify and report damaged goods or any discrepancies in shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with order picking and staging as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other relevant machinery is essential.
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50-75 pounds.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Flexible to work various shifts as required.
