About
Seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Washington, D.C. warehouse. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is crucial for our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. This includes performing cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations. You will also be involved in managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensuring proper storage procedures are followed. A thorough understanding of inventory management software is required. You will collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to optimize stock levels and minimize losses. Adherence to all Safety protocols and proper use of PPE are mandatory. While direct Lifting may not be the primary focus, the ability to assist with inventory tasks requiring some physical exertion is necessary.
