Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against the order to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels accurately to packages.
- Operate pallet jacks and other hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety to supervisors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the critical importance of PPE.
- Reliable attendance and work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and potential overtime.
