We are looking for an energetic and reliable Order Picker to join our team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting products from our extensive inventory. This position demands a focus on efficiency and precision to support our fast-paced logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from designated warehouse locations according to pick lists or digital orders.
- Inspect picked items for quality and verify against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents and product labels.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting weights up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
