As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy. You will utilize RF scanners to locate items, verify product information, and prepare orders for shipment. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and picking lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions match the order.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to supervision.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or sorting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and order picking technology.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product labels.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capacity for lifting up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the correct usage of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
