Job Summary:
We are seeking a precise and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting seamless logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventories, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, and implementing preventative measures to improve inventory accuracy. A deep understanding of inventory management principles, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail are required. The Inventory Control Specialist will work closely with warehouse and operations teams to streamline processes and support supply chain integrity. Proficiency with inventory management software and data analysis tools is essential. Adherence to all company safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. While the primary focus is on accuracy and analysis, some tasks may involve light lifting or moving inventory to facilitate counts. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to the efficiency of our logistics and supply chain functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop, document, and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure efficient stock rotation and storage.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and proper use of PPE.
  • Assist in the organization and layout of warehouse inventory.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Expertise in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
