Exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in beautiful San Diego, California! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our logistics operations by managing the movement and organization of materials within our facility. This role is fundamental to our warehouse efficiency, ensuring that products are correctly received, stored, and distributed. Key responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently, loading and unloading trucks, and staging goods for shipment or production. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding a high standard of safety in all tasks. You will be expected to follow established procedures for material handling and inventory management, and to strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves regular physical activity, including frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds, and requires proficiency in safe lifting techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and store incoming materials and finished goods.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Report any issues with materials, equipment, or safety hazards.
- Perform lifting and moving of products as necessary.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
