Role Overview:
We are looking for a sharp, conversion-focused Video Editor to join us on a part-time contract basis. You will be responsible for taking our library of raw content and turning it into high-impact video ads specifically for Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
While we provide the bulk of the footage and the core themes, you should have the creative eye to identify "missing links" and supplement the edits with your own quick shots or stock assets to ensure a polished final product.
The Workflow:
The Input: We provide raw footage, a specific campaign theme, and a target number of ads.
The Process: You cut, edit and style the ads with conversion top of mind.
The Output: High-quality, platform-ready 9:16 and 4:5 video assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Ad Assembly: Build cohesive video ads from a "grab bag" of raw clips, UGC, and brand assets.
Meta Optimization: Design for "sound-off" viewing with engaging captions, on-screen text, and visual hooks.
Thematic Execution: Take a provided brief (e.g., "Comparison Style" or "Benefit-Driven") and translate it into a sequence that flows.
Creative Supplementing: Use your initiative to film minor b-roll or source supporting visuals if the provided content has a gap that needs filling.
Version Iteration: Quickly produce variations of a single ad (different hooks or CTAs) for A/B testing.
Qualifications & Skills
Platform Expertise: You live and breathe Meta ads. You know where the "UI overlay" sits so your text never gets cut off.
Editing Software: Expert in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut (Desktop).
Direct Response Logic: You understand that an ad's success is measured by clicks, not just "vibes."
Independent Problem Solver: If a transition feels clunky or a clip is missing, you have the kit (phone/camera) and the skill to create a quick fix.
Contract Details
Schedule: Part-time (Approx. 2-8 hours/week). May Vary.
Communication: Must be available for brief weekly syncs on theme and performance.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
