About

The Network Engineer will be responsible for integrating Cisco IR1101 routers, OnLogic industrial PCs, and Schneider managed switches into operational technology (OT) environments, enabling secure and reliable communication between legacy networks and modern SCADA systems.
The role focuses on configuring network infrastructure, implementing segmented VLAN architectures, ensuring secure traffic flow, and maintaining connectivity with legacy devices without requiring IP reconfiguration. The engineer will support both local and remote SCADA-PLC communication, update firewall policies, and perform comprehensive connectivity testing across OT networks.
Security compliance is a key aspect, requiring alignment with Water OTASP standards, NIS Directive obligations, and IEC 62443 industrial cybersecurity principles. The role also involves working with Azure AD integration for SCADA systems and supporting cybersecurity tooling such as SIEM logging, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint protection.
Candidates should have strong experience in OT/ICS networking, SCADA integration, secure network design, and configuring technologies such as VLANs, static routing, NAT, MPLS, and IPSEC VPNs (including 4G failover).
Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA/CCNP, with additional experience in firewall management and remote secure connectivity considered valuable.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
