About

About Us

We're a locally owned and operated machine shop in Calgary, specializing in precision machining, fabrication, and custom parts manufacturing. Our team supports a wide range of industries, and we take pride in delivering quality work and reliable service. We're practical, hands-on, and value people who show up, do good work, and take responsibility for what's in front of them.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to operate our 1-ton flat deck pickup truck. Most of the driving is local around Calgary, moving materials and finished parts between our shop, suppliers, and customers. There will also be occasional day trips to Edmonton, but this is not a long-haul role and you'll be home every night.

This position suits someone who enjoys driving, knows Calgary well, and takes pride in being dependable and organized.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely drive a 1-ton flat deck truck to pick up and deliver materials, parts, and finished goods
  • Complete deliveries primarily within Calgary and surrounding area
  • Make occasional same-day trips to Edmonton
  • Load, unload, and properly secure materials using straps, pallet jacks, or other equipment
  • Check delivery paperwork and confirm shipments are correct
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Keep the truck clean, organized, and in good working condition
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with suppliers and customers
  • Help with shipping, receiving, or general shop tasks when not on the road

Why Work With Us

  • Steady, full-time hours
  • Mostly local driving with occasional Edmonton runs
  • No long-haul or overnight trips
  • Straightforward, supportive shop environment
  • A team that values reliability, quality work, and mutual respect

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving a 1-ton flat deck truck
  • Good knowledge of Calgary roads and traffic patterns
  • Physically able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
  • Able to work independently and manage your time well
  • Clear communicator with a practical, team-first attitude
  • Forklift experience or certification is an asset, but not required
  • Calgary, Alberta, Canada
