Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who will be responsible for creating innovative digital and printed marketing designs that are completely aligned and supportive of our Garage banner brand imaging.
Main Responsibilities
Produce and create impactful visuals for a variety of projects (print and digital) such as: store signages, labels, newsletter, seasonal guidelines, website/app landing page, homepages, web advertising and content for social media.
Be able to design, create and deliver graphic animations for various media (video ads, web banners, ads, etc.);
Assemble presentation boards of weekly/monthly/seasonal initiatives to give clarity and visibility to the management team;
Work on several projects simultaneously, respect due dates as per department production calendars, and balance last-minute rush projects;
Prepare files for programming and printing as well as artwork guidelines;
Contribute innovative ideas generating creative newness;
Work as part of a team and collaborate with various internal and external parties;
Support the Creative Services Manager in all assigned tasks.
Qualifications
BA in Graphic/Digital Design or college degree (DEC, technical diploma, community college diploma);
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effect, Illustrator and InDesign);
Full knowledge of Figma;
Mastery of web, mobile/app and printing files
Well versed in fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principles;
Extensive experience working in a fast-paced and innovative development environment, and a thorough understanding of cross-platform user interface design patterns and user-centric design methodologies;
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
