About
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is vital for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse and logistics processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing regular cycle counts and conducting full physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in our WMS.
- Monitoring inventory levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, and reporting findings.
- Collaborating with warehouse personnel to ensure proper receiving, storage, and shipping procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and experience with inventory management systems. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is required. While direct physical labor may be limited, the ability to perform occasional lifting up to 30 pounds may be necessary.
