As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage locations, and assisting with order fulfillment. This role is essential to our **logistics** operations, ensuring efficient material handling. The ability to perform **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs independently is also required when not operating equipment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and staging as needed.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Perform **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs when not operating machinery.
- Contribute to efficient **logistics** and material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures and **PPE**.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** and manual material handling when necessary.
- Knowledge of **logistics** and inventory movement within a warehouse setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
