Become a key player in our distribution center operations in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate. This role is essential to the seamless flow of goods within our facility. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, from receiving and stocking to order picking and preparing items for shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to efficiency are paramount. Your tasks will include operating warehouse equipment, accurately managing inventory, and ensuring that all products are handled with care. We place a high emphasis on safety, and you will be expected to follow all established safety guidelines rigorously, including the proper use of PPE. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are crucial for success in this role. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, motivated, and eager to contribute to a positive and productive warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (training provided if needed).
- Strong physical stamina and the capacity for regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to use PPE.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
