This role involves a significant amount of walking, bending, and reaching, as well as the ability to perform moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.
- Organize and stage picked items for subsequent packing and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting devices as required.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damage to supervisors promptly.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as put-away and stock replenishment.
- Regularly perform Lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.
- Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Familiarity with scanning technology.
- Understanding of general logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and wearing required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual team player.
