As an Order Picker, you will use RF scanners and order lists to locate and retrieve items, verifying their accuracy. We value a safe and productive work environment and provide thorough training, focusing on operational procedures and safety protocols, including the essential use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires physical dexterity, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against customer orders.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to safety and the use of PPE.
