We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our busy logistics facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and securely packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position is crucial to our warehouse operations and supply chain management. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner data.
- Verify item numbers and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
