Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Verify shipping addresses, quantities, and product information against orders.
- Generate shipping labels and required documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update the shipping log.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet wrappers and label printers.
- Ensure packages are properly loaded onto trucks, considering safe Lifting practices.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, management, and external partners.
- Assist with receiving duties as needed, contributing to overall warehouse logistics.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the shipping department.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
