Our Washington, D.C. location is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our thriving team. In this role, you will be integral to our logistics operations, handling a variety of tasks essential for efficient warehouse management. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing them for dispatch. You will contribute directly to maintaining high levels of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Safety is paramount in our facility; therefore, all associates must adhere to rigorous safety standards and utilize designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the capacity for considerable manual labor, including frequent Lifting of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
