You'll utilize handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to manage your picking tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanner instructions.
- Verify product information and quantities before placing items in designated containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking goals.
- Ensure proper handling of all merchandise to prevent damage.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of safety protocols and adherence to them.
- Reliable and punctual.
This position requires a strong focus on accuracy and safety. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. Employees will be trained on safe lifting techniques and equipment operation. Your contribution is vital to our logistics chain and customer satisfaction.
