Are you detail-oriented and enjoy an active role? Our Las Vegas, Nevada facility is looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary focus will be on speed and accuracy to ensure timely dispatch of shipments. This is a critical function within our logistics network, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You'll work with a scanning device to locate and pick items, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. We emphasize a safe working environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety vests. Regular training on safe lifting techniques and equipment operation is part of our commitment to employee well-being. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential. You will be expected to meet performance targets for order picking and maintain the organization of your assigned picking zones. Teamwork and communication are key, as you'll collaborate with other associates in receiving, packing, and shipping departments to keep the workflow smooth. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for product and quantity.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize provided PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Meet or exceed established picking quotas and accuracy standards.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment to a supervisor.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners or similar technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
