Join our vibrant team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for efficient and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. This role is essential to our e-commerce operations, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment with speed and accuracy. You will contribute to the overall customer experience by ensuring orders are correct and delivered on time. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of safety and proper handling of goods within our logistics framework.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability of lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented and a willingness to learn.
