Our Omaha, Nebraska distribution center is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all logistics processes. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and supervising warehouse staff to ensure productivity and Safety. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics principles is essential. We are committed to providing a secure workplace, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring accuracy through regular audits.
- Overseeing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Planning and scheduling shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Implementing and enforcing warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Training new employees on warehouse operations and Safety best practices.
- Optimizing warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintaining records of inventory, shipments, and orders.
- Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
- Ensuring compliance with all logistics and company regulations.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring equipment for proper maintenance and Safety.
- Assisting with tasks requiring Lifting as needed.
