Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or electronic scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock location verification.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages found during the picking and packing process.
- Contribute to team goals and maintain high productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order fulfillment.
