Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for an exciting opportunity in Denver, Colorado? We are seeking experienced individuals to join our logistics team and ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload goods, transport materials to and from designated areas, and assist with inventory management. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a high level of Safety and operational efficiency. This role requires precision, awareness of your surroundings, and strict adherence to all company Safety protocols. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, vests, and hard hats. While operating the forklift is primary, occasional manual tasks may require Lifting up to 40 lbs. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong safety record, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers accurately and promptly.
- Transport goods to and from different areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory control and stocktaking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear designated PPE at all times while operating equipment and performing duties.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and operational guidelines.
- Contribute to a culture of Safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to Safety and operational excellence.
