Your responsibilities will span inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring all safety protocols are rigorously followed. You will be instrumental in coordinating the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods, maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Your role will involve ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are adhering to all safety guidelines, contributing to a secure working environment. While direct physical labor may be less frequent than in other roles, an understanding of the demands of warehouse work, including aspects of Lifting, is beneficial. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, optimizing storage space, and coordinating with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless operations. We are looking for an individual who can proactively identify areas for improvement, implement efficient solutions, and foster a collaborative team spirit. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement inventory control measures.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and manage delivery schedules.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficient space utilization.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory, and staff performance.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of Safety and accountability among the warehouse team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination, supervision, or management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience enforcing PPE compliance.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Familiarity with the demands of warehouse work, including manual tasks and Lifting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
